web address bar/autocomplete

Here is the situation. I have gone to a website
WWW.ctv.ca. When I now type in any web address beginning
with the letter "C" in the web address bar autocomplete
list's several web addresses that begin with the
letter "C". I have cleared my history bar as well as
cookies. No matter what happens, every web address is
erased except for WWW.CTV.ca. whenever I type an address
beginning with the letter "C" autocomplete always
recommends WWW.CTV.CA. Can anyone advise how this can be
stopped/erased without turning autcomplete off? I have
tried everything I can think of in the "Tools" area of
internet explorer 6.0.
