they are very fearless ... nature has always been fascinating to me ... need to dust off my camera :)

He was a very lucky chap to get a photo like that.And did you see the lens he had?
Did he take the picture hand held or with a tripod? I`d like to know.

Yes Historian, he was certainly very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time for that one.

I found another interview, online, which said:

"Martin explained that he used a Canon EOS 70D and 300mm f/2.8 lens and has been a photography enthusiast for the past 12 years. He captured the photo using the camera’s programme mode."

But, so far, the articles (the ones I have seen, that is) don't appear to mention whether he used a tripod... if he didn't, then hats off to his steady hand! :)
