we80.cnf problems

when I try to publish using frontpage 2000 I keep receiving a error message
( server error cannot open no such file or folder ) and I really don't know
what to do please help
 
Close FrontPage. Use windows search and find files named *.web and delete all found.
Open FrontPage, open your web, recalculate hyperlinks and then try publishing.

Well when I do type in web the only thinh that comes up is my website and you
want me to delete them
 
Don't type in web. Type in *.web

You will have to enable the search for hidden files and folders.

Actually, if you search for *.web they should show.

okay they showed up and I delete them and Recalculate my hyperlinks and the
same error message keep coming up..just to make sure I'm doing everything
right i went to start and click on find and click on files and folders is
that right
 
What operating system and what kind of server are you trying to publish too.

That doesn't help, You need to post a link to your site so someone can check if extensions are
properly installed.
