WD Updates won't install

Windows automatic updates has tried unsuccessfully numerous times in the past
two days to install the following update on my pc:

Definition Update 1.14.1408.8 for BETA Windows Defender (KB915597)

I get a message saying 'sorry updates were not installed'. I went to the
update site and gtried to install the update manually but it still wouldn't
do it. I've never had any problems with Windows Defender updates before.

Can anyone help?

I have the same problem and continue to get reminders to update. So far I've
tried seven times.
