WD Update Failure

I keep getting a message to say that WD is out of date and I should update
it. When I request an update I get a message saying "WD was unable to
complete the update: 0x60240022. The wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert
%Z (Voilume Serial NumberL %3) into drive %1."

I have no disks in any of the drives and had no disk to install it as it was
downloaded from the website.

Can anyone shed any light on why I am getting this message or what i can do
to resolve it?

This particular error seems to be a new wrinkle.

Can you check your Windows Defender version (top version number in Help,
about?) If it is 1.1.1051, you might do a new download:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-f7f14e605a0d&displaylang=en

and update, and see if that changes the behavior.
