WD doesn't remember allowed items.

Hi,

Every time I use Lavalys Everest Home Edition, Windows Defender alerts me
about a driver change, which is normal knowing that Lavalys is a pc
maintenance program. However, it seems WD doesn't remember the applied
"Allow" function. In fact, no program appears on the Allowed Items section.
Any ideas of how to repair this? Thanks.

Hello Winsaurus,

go in WD/tools/advanced (scroll to the window) browse with the browse
option to your Link and add him.
This will do the trick.

Thanks for answering Tom,

Well, first I can't find any "advanced" option in the Tools menu (even
with scrolling the window). So far, only in General Settings, but that's for
scanning. I just want WD to remember that such program can run. Anyway,
thanks for your time, but keep posting!

Hello Winsaurus,

that just the place and action I mend! ;)

there I put kernel.wnt and Everest runs without notice!

Well Tom that did the trick! Interesting... I hope WD continues to scan it
just when I order a quick or full scan, not everytime Everest starts. Anyway,
thanks for your input. Now, can that same method work for those having
problems with McAfee Security Center and other Antivirus Software? Only time
can tell.

Some antivirus software is self-modifying or changes frequently and
irregularly--this method probably won't help for that situation.
