My firewall (ZoneAlarm) keeps telling me that "wcmdmgr.exe" is trying to
access the Internet. After doing a search for the file, I found that it is
in the Windows folder. I have a suspicion that it may be Windows Automatic
Update, but I want to know for sure before I allow it. Does anyone know?

Actually, this is from WildTangent, which some consider to be spyware or
adware. See http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist_w.htm
You can get rid of WildTangent (if you want to) and other spyware and
adware by getting one or more of the following free programs:
Ad-Aware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
Spybot Search & Destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org/
After installing either of these two programs, be sure to update them
with their latest reference files. The recommendation most commonly
seen in this ng is to run one or both of these about once a week.
Some folks also recommend HiJack This from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html but I'm not as
familiar with this one (also see http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/)
