Ways to get WMM 2.1 without installing SP2

Is there ANY way (or hack) to upgrade WMM version 2 to version 2.1 WITHOUT
installing (the whole) SP2?

I have just found another post explaining this IS possible.
The thread was named "Installing MM2,1, but Not XP SP2?", dated April 25th.
