WAY TO CONNECT WITHOUT STATIC IP SET?

I am running a small workgroup of xp-home - professional &
windows-98 base systems. Is there a way to Remote Desktop
into these systems without setting a Static IP up on them?
I like to use Remote Desktop in XP Pro for remotely
connecting to all of them.

Thank You In Advance.. Jim B

Jim, you will not be able to use RD to connect to the Win98 or WinXP Home
machines. While you can connect to RD from a Win98 or Home machine, only
WinXP Pro can be connected to by RD.

As to the IP issue, you could use a service like dyndns.org to get a
"friendly" name like jimb.dyndns.org to hook up to and you can use one of
the clients avaliable on the site to update the IP address as it changes.

Hope that helps.
