Wav Music

Hi again,

Well, I got a .wav file for my XP PP becuase the MP files were too big.

How do I insert a .wav music file into PP so I can send the PP and have the
music go with the PP ?

The PP is longer than the music file.... how can I get it to play
continuously.

Thanks again,

Bill

Go to the Tools menu and choose Options. Under the General tab, look for
"Link sounds with file size greater than." Enter 50000 for the number.
From that point on, any WAV that you insert into the file that is smaller
than 50,000KB (approximately 50MB) will be embedded in the PowerPoint
file (that is, it will be part of the file and sent along with it when
emailed).

For your other question, you might right click on the sound icon and
choose Sound Options. Check "loop until stopped." You might also check
out this entry from the PPT FAQ, "Play sounds across multiple slides (A
WAV runs through it)"

Bill,

I use window encoder to make large wav files into WMA files which PowerPoint
handles very well. This also significantly reduces the size of the finished
PPT file if you include the sounds not link them.

When you insert the sound file do custom animation > timing > repaet a
number of times. You must also be sure that the effect stop playing tab is
set to the number of total slides in the presentation.

Hope this helps,
