Hello,

I have a .wav file which I want to last for the 2 slides in a
presentation so have set to stop playing after 2 slides ... but!

The second slide has a hyperlink and PPT 2003 does not appear to
recognise selection of this link as the end of the second slide, as
the music continues to play after leaving this presentation and moving
to the next presentation.

Am I missing something here?!

Cheers

Geoff

Yes, you are missing the non-visible slideshow window. The selection of the
link on the second slide opens a new slideshow window over top of the
current one. The second slide is still active underneath the new one, so
the sound continues to play.

Bill,

The odd thing is I thought I did have this working earlier in the day!

Is there a way round this?

Cheers

Bill,

Seem to have sorted this by using Modify transition / Sound under
Slide transition. The .wav file does now stop on using the hyperlink
on the second slide.

Why doesn't it stop if I use the Insert / Sound approach?!
