I've seen this questions posted on this NG before, but I did not see
anything pertaining into this on my newsreader.

How do I remove the watermark from my desktop? Thanks.

I think Microsoft's policy is, you should not remove it from pre-release
code:

I rather like the watermark myself. It gives an impression of being
"special" for having an evaluation copy

What a disappointment.
I thought I had a special copy , autographed by a guy named
"Evaluation C. Build".

I like the Water Mark, it makes me feel very special that I get to use
Windows Vista RC2, Just FYI.
