Watermark on all but first slide

I want to add a watermark to all the slides but the first one. So I don't
want to use Slide Mater. How can I do this?

Which version of PPT do you have? In 07 you can have multiple masters, in
earlier versions you can elect to apply the master to each slide or not.

If your first slide uses the Title Slide layout (which it usually does by
default), you can just not put the watermark on the Title Master.

If that's not good enough, then put the watermark on the slide master, copy
it and make another master. Delete the watermark from that one and apply
that master to the first slide.
