Watermark in Excel 2003

I have a document in Excel that has page number watermarks on the center of
the page that show onscreen but don't print. If I add a page it just keeps
going to the next page number. How can I remove the watermark? How did it get
there?
Any ideas?

This is an Access newsgroup, not an Excel newsgroup. I'd suggest you post
your question in an Excel newsgroup.

Please repost your question in an Excel newsgroup. The Microsoft
webpage can be confusing - scroll down the list of subjects on the
left and find one for Excel. This newsgroup is for a different
program, Microsoft Access.
