I have a document on my screen with a watermark, it can be viewed on my pc,
but not on my colleagues, any idea why?

Tools, Options, View, Print and Web Layout options, Drawings.
Hope this helps

I was hoping it would be the easy option ;-)
Is the watermark under Format, Background, Printed Watermark or an image
inserted into the Header/Footer?
If H&F, do you have the H&F viewed? Are you viewing in PrintLayout or Normal?

It's very strange, it is a watermark, but if she double clicks on the header
and footer (which takes you into header and footer) it is then visible as a
watermark.

Many people sue the Header/Footer area to add "watermark" images as this can
be easier to control than the Format/Background procedure.
Glad you have found it.

Problem not really solved as it still can't be seen on opening the file and
it is a watermark image not an h an f. Not to worry at the moment as most
people seem to be able to see it on their PC.

Thanks for your help.

See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/WhiteSpace.htm. Hiding "white space"
suppresses display of the header and footer and everything anchored to them,
which includes watermarks.
