Warning on shutdown if active network connections

Hi everyone.

The situation:
I've got 2 pc's here (both XP Prof SP2 up to date). One of them (PC1) is
used for dumping some large files like DJ mixes. The other pc (PC2) I use for
accessing this files using the local network. But, my little sister is
usually on PC1 and then turns it off while I'm listening (on PC2) to these
mixes or during copying new stuff to PC1. This is pretty annoying.

Is there a way to let Windows XP warn my sister, when she wants to turn the
pc off, that somebody in the network is accessing the HDD and will show an
option to abort shutdown or something like that?

Ok I'm 1 step further. I found out about the shutdown scripts in windows. All
I need is a way to cancel shutdown.
