warning message

Everytime I turn on my computer the following message
comes up. "DLL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM#@\2ndsrch.dll is not a
valid windows image."
My question is how can I fix this withy out a op disk?
The program was already in the computer when I recieved
the laptop. WindowsXP home edition
 
i get something similar, mine says RUN DLL 32.EXE BAD IMAGE
what ever would we do without windows.........
