Start Up problems

Something has changed on my computer that I cannot solve.
When Windows XP (home edition) starts it automatically
starts the dialer and then I get a message that
c:\windows\system32\2ndsrch.dll is not a valid windows
image.

I have looked in the start up menu and searched regedit
but could not find a reference for this file. When I
looked at the properties of 2ndsrch.dll it doesn't not
show a source.
