Warning message when I sync my Palm

When I sync my Palm and also when I try to send emails from within a
VB-application I get a warning message that a program is trying to access
email - adresses that are stored in Outlook. Anyone knows a way to get rid of
this message

From where is the message coming? It sounds like you have a third-party
firewall (perhaps Norton Internet Security) in place. If this is the
case, then you need to configure its settings to allow your
VB-application to access the network. Same goes for your Palm.

That warning is usually generated by "Outlook Express". Go to 'tools' >
'options' > 'security' --> about the third line down is a check box for:
"Warn me when other applications try to send mail for me."
