Ok I figured out how to add it:
1) right click Computer Management (Local)
2) All tasks (brings up two options: Connect to another computer & Send
Console
message)
3) Select Send Console message
4) Send Console Message Task Box opens. You have a Message area, a
recipients
area. A: Send, Cancel, Add, & Remove Button. Click Add.
5) This brings up the Select Computer Task Box. Click on the Advanced button.
6) This brings up the Select Computer Task Box (this one is different than
the first
one). There is a Find Now button, click that button.
7) It brings up a list of computers on the network. You highlight the one
you want
to add then click "ok". That computer is added to the list under:
"Enter the object
name to select" area. Click "ok" once all computers that you want to
send it to
have been added.
8) This takes you back to Send Console Message Task Box.
9) Remove any computer you don't want to send the message to.
10) Once you have typed/made sure your message is ready then you click the
Send
button.

Issue: After I click the send button I get an error message: "Not all
reipients received the message. This could be due to an invalid computer
name, or because the recipient computer is unavailable. Check each recipient
computer neame and then re-send."

Question: How do I correct this problem? What, if anything, am I doing
wrong.

check that the Messenger service is running on the machines which show
errors.
run line | services.msc. -- Messenger should be started, or automatic. For
more info on its dependencies, (in the Services snap-in) right click
Messenger and choose properties and click the dependencies tab. I believe
some of its dependent services are turned off by default in XP SP 2.
