How to configure a WEP adaptor to A WPA network. WPA
does not show as an option when configuring the new PC
with an 11b wi-fi adapter (only WEP shows as option).
Already downloaded patch (Q815485_WXP_SP2_x86_ENU.exe
) and didn't help.

WPA is relatively new for consumer wireless and not all older (6 months!)
equipment is capable of WPA without firmware/driver updates. You should
check each device vendor for a WPA update, if any are available. Otherwise,
if you want WPA, you will have to purchase new, compatible, equipment. The
OS component is only one part of WPA.
