after i've been working on my computer for a while,
suddenly a dialog pops up saying:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or
other removeable disk that is not available."

"Insert the 'Microsoft Outlook 2000' disk and click OK."

the trouble is i have no idea what i do that prompts
this. i don't have outlook 2000 installed and have never
used it. i have no idea what it's trying to install or
why.

if i cancel the dialog it pops up again right away. i
have to keep hitting cancel over and over before it
finally dies for good.

any idea what it's trying to do???

thanks.

Put in the Office 2000 CD that was used to install Office 2000 and it should
start to configure whatever it needs to do.

I have a dell system that came with office xp sbe. i put
the office cd's in the drive, but the dialog doesn't
accept them. it keeps saying it wants the 'Microsoft
Office 2000' disk, which i don't have.

i think this happens when i use the search feature in
windows explorer.

also from the event logs i'm getting:
