Two words come to mind here.....

'Urine' and 'take'

Now then, don't be tight ;)

Has anybody got some good quality used bootlaces, cheap, whilst we're on the subject? :)

At the moment for me it is: "In for a penny in for a pound."

I am looking after my pennies and making sure the pounds lookafter themselves.

Abarbarian, if I were to send you out a book of first class stamps (6) would that be enough to cover the postage?
I think they come up as £2.04

I've also got a working floppy drive, beige, you could have for a coupla quid if you're that desperate.

I can remember, in the ancient mists of time, taking the empty Guinness bottles back to the off licence for me Dad. Them big quart bottles with the screw stopper with a thick red rubber washer on.

Sometimes me Dad would let me keep the money - yay! Sometimes he'd clip me round the ear for no reason - ouch :(

Well, there's a way to make money :)

They don't do that anymore? Oh..... wouldda been a good idea for recycling, that,

So your going to send me £2.04 , add on the 40p for your stamp , thats £2.44 . An for that you'll get a old floppy that works but might not last the week .
E-Buyer on the othere hand will sell you a BRAND NEW guaranteed for one year SONY floppy and only charge you £2.19 for postage .
Hmmm .
Its your call mate .
To raise the £4 difference you could drink 2 pints less this week .
Make some soup to replace a ready meal or a take out .
Save on shipping by ordering the floppy with another order .
etc etc etc .
Me I'd go for the Sony . Buuuuuut if you really want the old floppy I'll send it to you ,

:D

no wrong

almost....

I will send out 6 stamps to you. 5 inside 1 on the outside..
I got these stamps for free too. But like I said is that going to be enough for the thing to come out to me?
Sony or Fujitsu as long as it works for me.

See I don't mind paying the £3.71 but it's the postage on that site this is killing me. Perhaps I could wait untill I order something else so that I can get free delivery.

So instead of spending approx £7 I will end up spending nowt!
That £7 is enough to buy a few drinks with a bird or I could get myself some socks.
:)

Hey Psd you tight sod...:D jeez now sending a book of stamps for the postage...Hey while your at it why not pop into your local charity shop and ask if they have one they don't need...

As for the bottles I remember the R Whites Lemonade bottles I used to take back to the sweet shop and collect 10p on each, used to take a crate of 12 emptys that had to have the lids in place or else they wouldn't pay up and get £1.20 which bought my sweets for the rest of the week..Those were the days....

I'm just looking around to see if I have a spare Floppy here aswell...

Someone just stole my hubcaps!!!! Oh dear, but try visiting PRIMARK!

I don't mind wearing clothes that cost £1 or £2 because even if you spend £50 they are still doing the same job. :)
