Want to untweak Start Menu

I want to untweak a tweaker's Start Menu default.

I've got a pile of machines that have an image placed on them that someone
else developed. He has it set up where the default Start Menu is the Classic
style. I want to put it back to the standard XP style. Can you tell me how
to fix this?

Also, will that have any affect on some other windows views? For example,
when you open "My Computer", the blue panel on the left of the window is
missing in this tweaked version.

TIA

Right-click the Start button > select "Properties" > check the "Start menu"
radio button (dot). Next right-click the desktop > select "Properties" >
"Appearance" tab > under "Windows and buttons" dropdown box select "Windows
XP Style" then click "Apply" button then click "Ok" button. You should be
there!

Since you have a pile of machines, I'll bet you'd like a registry hack
to make the change. One of these MIGHT help:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Line 117. Restore Taskbar and Start Menu
Line 271. Stuck in Classic View? Undo Now
Also, will that have any effect on some other windows views? For example,
when you open "My Computer", the blue panel on the left of the window is
missing in this tweaked version.

TIA

The second one above should help with that too.
