Want to make my external HDD Bootable

I am not much familiar with softwares. I am using Acer Aspire One Notebook, with no CD Rom or floppy.

The windows xp already installed got corrupt and i want to install new windows in it.

I have a External HDD SATA 111 GB, I want to make it bootable, and will copy the xp installation in it, so i can install windows xp on my system.

Please help me with easy procedure and language. Thanx
