Want to install a spam killer

killer/stopper/buster (or whatever other generic
reference) which I can use with Outlook Express. Thanks.

Get Mailwasher.This program will let You preview mail while it is still
on the server.It will then let you delete unwanted mail including virus
attachments before it reaches your mailbox.This is important if you are
going to use Outlook Express as it is a known virus magnet.

Be extremely cautious of whom you are dealing with, for in the setting up
procedure, you are asked to give --- that is, to give away --- your password
for that particular email/news reader account you are using or going to use.

Actually all application software asking for one's active, genuine password
should be resisted. Mails redirection managers, programme download managers
etc. are also suspects. Thanks, Malke. I'll investigate this PopFile spam
filter further; its handling of this password issue seems interesting and
warrants closer inspection.
