Want envelope in tray for non-inbox folders

Hi all,

I have many folders and many rules moving emails from the inbox into those
folders.

Currently, the little envelope in the system tray only appears for the
emails that stay in the inbox, not for those routed to other folders.

I know I can do the desktop alerts, but that is temporary, and the new email
popup alerts are a pain.

Is there any way to pick and choose which folders get an envelope in the
system tray?
 
Hi Clay,

I've the exact same problem. I was previously using OL2003 and never had
this problem, but I read somewhere that rules are now processed before the
envelope notification icon gets displayed. Since they changed the rules to
allow a rule to display a desktop alert, it would be great if you could also
specify in the rule to display a envelope notification too.

Anyone from MS agree?
