Want ability to use client side rules to avoid email notification

D

David W. Rogers

We decorate spam using PureMessage and then rely on client side filtering to
filter out spam. Unfortunately, the email notification sounds and balloons
occur before the rules are run. It would ne nice to be able to add a "disable
notification" clause to the rule, which currently moves all such email to a
SPAM folder.

Version of outlook?

you can turn off notification - then create a rule at the end for all other
mail to display the blue desktop alert and play a sound.

tools, options, email options advanced to disable the envelope and desktop
alert. turn off sounds in windows control panel.
