outlook express rule enhancement idea

O

oslgj

I could eliminate most of my email spam in Outlook and/or Outlook Express if
it would let me write a rule to filter out messages that had a certain
character strings in the address in the URL imbedded in the message.
Specifically, the ability to filter out any message with an imbedded link to
a site with a ".cn" suffix would be wonderful!

the question refers to an embedded url.
the condition "with specific words in the body" will filter the text of the
link (e.g. "click here") but not the actual url.

the url itself is seen in the message source (which can be seen in the
message properties), but i dont know how to apply the rule to the source.

oslgj -- if you found a solution, please post it here!!

thanks

I don't believe rules will operate on the HTML source. Outlook rules sure
won't. In any event, the OP should be asking in the Outlook Express
newsgroups.
