When a rule replies to an incoming email using a template there is no option
to include the original message with the reply (and there should be).

Why would you want to? The sender already has the original message because he
or she sent it to you.

because they have sent many emails and don''t know to which this reply relates.

and/or

because the email was sent automatically by 3rd party software on their
behalf and they don't know to what the reply applies.

and/or

because you want to cc the reply to a 3rd party who won't know to what the
reply relates.

i just discovered that if i leave the subject blank in the template the reply
inherits the original message's subject - that helps.

The option to include the original message would be better but this
definitely helps.
