want a4 paper size as default for all my print jobs

Hi all, I have a problem with printing. I am in australia and our
default paper size is A4. I have gone to
printers/properties/papersize and set all the paper settings to A4 NOT
letter. I have set my page setup in Word to A4,

What is really annoying is I find a simple print of an email from
Outlook Express 6.0 seems to nearly allways revert to letter paper
meaning I have to goto my HP5M laserjet and press the big green button
to get my printout.

How do I make all my print jobs automatically be A4.

Aside from any programs that may have their *own* idea, you should get
it in the Printer's Properties, Device Settings page, and select the
'Form to Tray' cassette and Manual feed to be A4 and Apply.
