wallpaper keeps disappearing

I have a P4 system running XP with 512 memory. Just the
last 2 days, when I don't use the system for 10 minutes
or so, the picture that I am using as wallpaper
disappears and is replaced with a grey screen background.
All the icons are still there, but the picture is gone. I
have re-applied the picture and even changed to another
one, but it keeps happening.Could anyone help with this
problem

Hi Steve,

Have you made any changes in Accessibility?
Are you using a random changer and it is being set to none?
What is listed under Desktop settings when it reverts?
What is the color of your screensaver after inactivity?
What is the amount of time chosen for inactivity?
 
No changes in accessibility
No random changer
Desktop setting shows the picture that is supposed to be
on the screen.
Time for inactivity is set at 10 minutes
