I am a new member to this board and have an issue that I am hoping for some help with. I did do a search but have not found an answer.
A little background, I work for a nation wide company that is trying to incorporate WOL on well over 10,000 PCs. Many of these PCs have the WOL option within the BIOS disabled and it must be enabled. (We are using three different hardware vendors -can I state their name here? - with an assortment of models from each.) It is cost prohibitive for this to be done manually to every workstation.
I am trying to find a utility or a way to accomplish the BIOS change in an automated fashion for two of the three vendors (one vendor has a free application and it seems to work fine in our testing). We are an Active Directory, Windows XP company and have SMS incorporated so software delivery and execution of an application or script is no problem.
