Been searching the net for this as I'm lazy and probably would lose
interest if I attempted to write something to do this.
Currently, the de-facto standard for WOL implementation is to use an
executable along with a MAC address for Ad-hoc use.
At our company, we use DNS and DHCP.....which obviously stores the IP
against the Fully Qualified Domain Name and finally along with the MAC
address.
What I'm looking for is a small app which you can type in the IP or
the DNS Name in order to Wake the PC via WoL. Obviously this app
would read the DHCP table for reference of where to go.
Anyone have any ideas?
