W98 workstaion problem

Delete the *.pwl file, ...then next time,... give the "windows password" a
blank password.
 
W2K server DC/AD. 2 w98 clients logon to network OK but always prompt for a
windows password also. I removed Windows logon, only client for Microsoft
networks left. Still does it. I can cancel it, but it is a pain in the neck.
