W32.Welchia.b Worm & Svchost.exe

On my PC, Norton AV found w32.Welchia.b worm but cannot
quarantene or eliminate it. How can I get rid of it with
minimal damage? John

I went to Nortons website and they have a tool to help. See the links below
including on how to protect your computer with the basics being a firewall,
up to date anti virus protection that also scans emails [BIG BIG must do],
and keeing critical updates current which can be done automatically. ---
