Everytime i open outlook express, i keep getting mails saying that so and so
could deliver this or that mail. These are mails that i haven't sent. I have
read it may be w32.swen virus, i have downloaded a FixSwen program via the
Norton site, when i run it it says that the virus isn't present, but i still
get these emails. Does anyone know how to stop these mails coming. I am
running Norton Anti Virus 2004, on Win XP pro.
TIA

You have to go to every infected computer that has your name in their
address book or usenet news listing or anywhere else and disinfect that
computer. The problem is that there are infected computers with your
address on them, and the virus is forging your email address (and lots of
others) onto the messages that get bounced. There is nothing you can do on
your computer except use a mail filtering program and a good antivirus.

Use a 'learning' spamfilter and mark the notifications as spam. After a few it
should recognize them as such.

Alternatively, setup a filter that looks for the word 'virus' in the subject
(or body), most of these notes say you have a virus, even if it is a worm.
