Running Windows XP Home Edition ver 5.1. No problems yet.
I revceive automatic updates from MS and from Norton
Antivirus 2002. Update claim to be current as o0f today
(081303). Am I protected from W32,Blaster? Thanks

Yes as much as reasonable.
To check what updates you have:
Start/All Programs/Windows Update.
Click "View Installation history"
