W32.Blaster.Worm issue-Help!

I have gone out and got the removal software from
Symantec and added the patch from Microsoft for Windows
XP 32 bit. My norton Anti virus 2001 keeps giving me this
message:

The file C:\System Volume Information\_restore{20ED1D1D-
F0EC-4E01-BAF7-7F97834A0892}\RP122\A0029217.exe is
infected with the W32.Blaster.Worm virus. Access to file
denied.

How can I get rid of this message and make sure the bug
is off of my system?

Leroy, Did you disable the system restore function on
your system (before you installed the patch)? If memory
serves, symentec mentioned that the removal tool may have
to be used while in safe mode (info on this on the same
place at the symantec site). You may also have to correct
some registry values (again at the same symantec site).
