W2K VPN Browsing

We are abe to connect via a VPN connection to our server, but we cannot
browse the shares.

What are we missing?

BTW - There is a Sonicwall firewall in the loop, but we are connecting to
the server, I can see the connections in the RAS manager.

What traffic are you passing through the sonicwall?

You need your remote machines to use a local name server (WINS and/or DNS),
i.e. a server inside the network VPNed into.

i.e. a server inside the network VPNed into.

In the TCP settings of the machine you want to Browse your network.
Or, depending on how you're doing the VPN, in it's DHCP configuration.
Or edit the local HOSTS file, if you know the IPs of the resources you want
to access.
