W2K server moving to another NT domain

Hi there,
How should I go about moving a W2K application server from one NT4
domain to another? Like moving to a workgroup first, next to the destination
domain.

Just like you mention. Move to workgroup then join to new domain. Be SURE
that you know the local administrator password before making taking it into
a workgroup as your domain admin passwords will not work anymore. I usually
will log in as domain admin and then change the local admin password and
then logoff, log in as local admin to be sure it works and then move it to a
workgroup. This way you will not shoot yourself in the foot and be locked
out of the machine.
