W2K Server install, wrong drive letter

I have a problem with a remote fileserver. This server (HP ML370, G3, Array 1
is Raid 1 18 GB, array 2 is Raid 5 140 GB) is configurd as follows: Array 1
with three primary partitions (C: D: and E:), Array 2 with just one partition
for user data (F:).
C: is kind of an "emergency" or backup installation of the os, D: is the
normal installation of the os and E: is nothing but a swap partition.
The os on D: has become faulty, causing BoD. The server was rebooted into
the os on C:, working fine so far (shares and login scripts were adapted to
this new situation) althoug users are complaining about some issues. Restore
of D: failed, thats why i am thinking of a new installation of D:
Here comes the bad part: I run winnt32 from C:, using /t:D: to make the -
now empty - d: drive the target of the installation. This is just fine, but:
When the installation is finished the former D: has become E: and the former
F: can now be seen as D: - causing some trouble.
Questions is: How can I make the os or the setup program use D: (second
partition on first disk). I cannot remove or delete Array 2 (F:) because of
the large amount of user data.
Any help is really appreciated!
