W2k SBS Domain Problems

Hi there

Was originally having trouble connecting my XP Pro machine to my W2k SBS domain. It was coming up with"cannot find domain server". Eventually I went through a whole host of steps and looked through the DNS settings. Eventually it joined my domain... or so I thought. When I rebooted after the "Welcome to * Domain", the logon script did not run and whenever i tried to access a share across the network, it would come up with an authentication box. Any ideas

Thanks in advance.

This can occur due to DNS misconfiguration. All servers and workstations
should specify *only* the internal AD-integrated DNS server's IP address in
their network settings. The AD-integrated DNS server should be set up with
forwarders to your ISP's DNS servers for external resolution. See
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;300202 for more
info.
