w2k relocation

Hi expert,

A w2k server with exchange 2000(in one PC) is running. Now I would like to
re-locate the OS and exchange to a new PC which different Hardware
specification.
I installed a new w2k server in the new PC and then restore system status
from the old PC. Actually, it is not successful. Some hardware could not be
recognized since I done the restore.

Does the procedure correct?
Any plan can provide?

Generally, and I mean this in a broad sense, this will not work. The reason
is that you will run into all sorts of issues with the HAL and enum keys in
the registry.
