Hi,

I've changed some settings on the register on W2k and wished not to restart
the system. Is there any command to run so that the new changing take
effect.

Please advise me how to do it so that I don't need to shutdown/restart the
system.

Thanks in advance.

That depends entirely on exactly what (and where) the changes were
made. Some changes require a system re-start to become active, others
a logoff/logon, some a Desktop Refresh, and some are effective
immediately.
