W2k map drive from WinXP???

I have a W2k laptop and am trying to map a shared drive
from my XP machine on the same lan. I keep getting an
error no logon on server available to sevice the logon
request. WHat do I need to do?

When you go to explorer and select map drive, put in the

drive name like \\cpu\c then beleow there is the option to
log in using a different name and password. Use the name
and password that you use to get on to the XP machine, it
worked for me. Good luck
