w2k lock up during clean install??

I'm doing a clean install and when it comes time to
reboot.... after rebooting it says "to boot from cd rom
press any key" When I do that it starts the whole process
over?????

if I don't it just sets there... It stayed for about 1
hour earlier????

remove the win2k cd before reboot

the win2k cd is configured to auto start at bootup for
installation
