W2000 Won't Start

Hi,

W2000 Advanced Server SPK4 with net updates gets to
the 'Windows is starting up' dialog box message and hangs.

Mouse works but the start up does not proceed.

Starting in Safe Mode it gets to the line \winnt\system32
\drivers\ghpcw2k.sys and stops for a few seconds. The
screen goes black then eventually the 'Windows is starting
up' dialog box message comes up but does not proceed.

Hi,

I believe some third partner service could be an issue
what we can do atmost is

1) Boot the computer in recovery console
2)run List command to list all the services running
3)use disable command to disable all the third party service
4) reboot the server

otherwise I would recommend the to call microsoft for tech support
because we need to check the registry for this issue
