W2000 cant boot

When the PC boots, after you type the username and
password the machine hangs. If you try to safe boot a
message tells you to retry and chk the disk. When you
acces the disk with the repair console , all you can see
is about 30 files but none of the directories.
HELPPPPP!!!!!

I would try a repair installation, selecting the fast repair option. Usually doing an
ungraceful shutdown will cause Dick Check to run at startup. ---Steve
