VX-6000 "1.3 MP Video capture disabled"

I have the VX-6000 installed on XP SP2. For whatever reason, in the
Settings->Resolution dropdown, I'm unable to select the 1.3 MP video
resolution. The 1.3 MP dropdown includes the following: "(Video capture
disabled)". The "Capture a Video" button is also grayed out as well. I'm
seeing this issue on v.2.04. This wasn't an issue when I initially installed
v.1.4 via the disc that came with the camera. Am I overlooking something
that would prevent me from selecting this 1.3 MP video capture feature?

I have exactly the same issue.

Works fine using the software on the CD (Lifecam 1.4) but using the latest
version downloaded from Microsoft (2.1), Video recording is disabled at 1.3MP
resolution.

The VX-6000 Lifecam packaging clearly states 1.3 Megapixel video!

Why the restriction in the new version of the software?

I have the exact same problem. another issue is my picture is grainy and i
have no idea how t clear it up!!!
